Breakfast Stack

This is my contribution to The Nourishing Gourmet’s Simple and Nourishing Carnival! Enjoy!

This is a quick and easy breakfast that I love! You can use your favorite grain-free or gluten-free bread to suit your diet.  You can add as many ingredients as you like. Add sour cream and salsa for a Mexican flair, add some bacon for a salty treat, or top it with another piece of toast for a sandwich to go.

Ingredients:

  • 1 piece of buttered toast
  • 1/2 small avocado, mooshed
  • sauerkraut or other cultured veggie [opt.]
  • 1 fried egg

1. Stack all the ingredients on the toast and enjoy!
